坐落于英国西北部柴郡（Cheshire）的乡间别墅Arley Hall拥有着270多年的悠久历史，其备受喜爱的花园一直受到同一家族成员的历代悉心照料。如今，白立方首次将国际当代艺术引入了这一颇具历史意义的地点，呈现一场特别户外雕塑展。来自安东尼·葛姆雷（Antony Gormley）、翠西·艾敏（Tracey Emin）、野口勇（Isamu Noguchi）、凯里斯·怀恩·埃文斯（Cerith Wyn Evans）以及傅丹（Danh Vo）等人的作品，将点缀于Arley Hall宽阔的草坪，池塘里或是树林间，抑或是站立在古老的砖墙以及都铎谷仓的横梁上。
展出的作品中，部分雕塑需要一番搜寻后才能找到，另外一些则时不时出现在花园所形成的风景中。野口勇的《Play Sculpture》和弗吉尼亚·奥弗顿（Virginia Overton）的《Chime》邀请参观者们攀爬、触摸。乡村花园熟悉的象征性景色以不同以往的形式呈现，例如傅丹的中式凉亭代表了英式度假屋；大卫·阿尔特米德（David Altmejd）重构了经典的仙女形象；塔基斯（Takis）、玛格丽特·玗牡（Marguerite Humeau）和莫娜·哈透姆（Mona Hatoum）的雕塑则如同自然界中奇怪的新生物在这里盛放。
