My practice is concerned with body politics, gender and the representation and visibility of dissident identities. My work exists at the intersection of documentary and activism, as I believe photography can be a tool for promoting equality and positive change. Between January and April 2021, I cycled 600km to different areas of London during the national lockdown to photograph trans and non-binary people outside their homes. With my photographs, I seek to challenge the cisgender and straight gaze by showing the reality of my community from our perspective.
